Matthew Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, from North Carolina. He is the child of Manny James, and Patty James of mixed race. The mother of Manny James is caucasian while his father is Nigerian. Following his graduation of Sanderson High School, in 2010, James enrolled in Wake Forest University and obtained the Bachelor's degree in Economics. James gained fame when his role as a reality TV star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen as the bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25 becoming the initial African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James is a great fit for the job as he's tall, handsome and hilarious. Rachael Krakconnell, whom he had chosen as his partner for the rest of the season. James partnered with the dancer Arnold who was popular in the era of his participation in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold took 12th place.
